Events Description
Reliable broadband can support many aspects of rural life, including education, emergency response, healthcare, local businesses, agriculture, remote work, public services, and overall quality of life. Our earlier outreach has focused on understanding how internet connectivity currently affects residents, organizations, and communities across the region.
During the week of October 6-8, community meetings will be held in Humboldt and Trinity Counties. These meetings will bring together residents, community leaders, internet service providers, Cal Poly Humboldt, USDA Rural Utilities Service, Brightscape Networks, and other local stakeholders to discuss existing internet services and identify community connectivity needs.
