Tell us about Wild River Farms

We are a multi-generational family farm located on the Mattole River in the hills of Humboldt County. We strive to produce the highest-quality cannabis using regenerative growing practices that support our natural environment and community.

What are the most rewarding aspects of your job?

Being able to work at home, on our farm, in an environmentally cooperative way.

How does your farm help tell the story of cannabis in Humboldt?

Starting with our name, Wild River Farms, which is inspired by the Mattole River, one of the last wild rivers in California. This helps us to tell the story of our amazing community, which is so committed to the preservation and restoration of the local ecosystem. What makes Humboldt unique is the dirt, the sun, and the water.

What's one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?

That I’m growing cannabis.

What do you have in your stash?

A little bit of everything – liking White Tahoe Cookie and Mochi this year.
