The Original Equity Group (OEG), an association of equity cannabis businesses based in the Bay Area, presented on HCGA’s Industry Affairs call on Wednesday on building linkages between legacy cultivators and equity businesses based in cities. OEG’s network includes over a dozen equity brands, many of which have secured guarantees of shelf space with retailers. OEG businesses are looking to build partnerships with legacy businesses in Humboldt to source product, and are working to build an equity trade certification to help consumers identify equity products and allied businesses.
